Bentley's starting to cruise! He's walking (well more like learning to run) everywhere! I can't believe my baby boy is growing up so fast! He's 11 months old and growing like crazy!

A lot has happened in my life. I've had to overcome obstacles and learn to deal with situations that I may not have been ready for. Like my favorite phrase says though, "Whatever will be, will be" things happens for a reason and they were meant to happen for a reason, even if you don't think so. I love this phrase so much, that I plan on getting it as my first tattoo! :) It means so much to me.

Bentley Walking!

My baby is starting to walk! It's so insane how fast he's growing up and the speed at which he moves. Oh my goodness, I don't have a baby anymore I have a toddler! Ahhh.. That's so crazy to think about!!!! I'm in shock now, so I'll post you later! :)

The Good Ones

I've never been very good at making or keeping good friends. Guess what though? I've done it! :) Katie is her name, yes I know its pretty funny, and we met about 2 weeks ago. I posted a strictly platonic craigslist post and from emailing, to texting, and then to meeting up, we just hit it off and clicked as friends.

It's nice to have someone to sit down with and just chat about all the girl things, paint our nails, and watch all the shows that our husbands find stupid. We are also going to start going to the gym together! :) I'm excited about that for sure. I think the one think I love about her most is that she's true to herself and the people around her. That's the kind of friend you need to hold on to for dear life and always fight for it. Plus, I have none of that high school drama crap with her! Wooo! :)

Keeping Yourself Happy

Life. You have good days and you have bad, but what do you do to keep yourself happy? Do you work out, read a good book, sit in front of the television with a bag of chips while watching your favorite movie? We all have things that we do to relax and that make us smile while doing them.

Things that relax me would have to be reading. The most recent thing that I have been reading is "The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner" by Stephenie Meyer. Another thing is watching a good television show. Mine would have to be Vampire Diaries. What can I say, I love me some vampires! :) Most of all though would be playing, snuggling, and just simply watching my son grow up. It's one of the most magnificent things in the world to see this little speck on an ultrasound screen becoming a little peanut of a person. Bentley grows and learns everyday and it takes my breath away every time.

I love being a mommy (even on the hard days) so much! No wonder why I'm not going crazy while having a new baby girl aka Elena Lynn, our puppy. She is just like a newborn baby. She wakes up during the night, cries when she's left alone, and just wants to be held and sleep all day long. Love it! :) Go motherhood! :)

So tell me what you do to keep yourself happy! Give me some ideas that maybe I can try to relax and have a good time so I stay sane! Comment on my post. :)

Yet To Be Named...

My surprise for the day.. a Chi-Weenie puppy! She is so very adorable and sweet. We have yet to name her though. I like Elena and Sophie. Comment if you have any ideas! :)

Shinanigans

I'm not quite sure what Bentley is doing with his head in this video. It concerns me a little that he moves his head from side to side as if he can't control it. He also throws his head back (like he's going to through a fit) randomly throughout the day but seems like he doesn't really know why it's happening. I'm thinking about taking him to the doctor to get it checked out just to see if it's abnormal for a baby to be having these impulses that are seeming to be uncontrolled. What do you guys think I should do? I know this video is him being goofy and clicking his tongue while moving his head, but my point is about the head moving. Hope to hear from you!

Halloween 2011

Bentley's first Halloween! We went to Trunk-or-Treat this year, and got our pictures taken by Capture My Moments Photography. I will say that I will defiantly be looking into getting pictures done by these guys. Super nice and friendly. When you look on their website www.capturemymoments.com you will see how amazing the work is as well. All in all, it was a wonderful Halloween!

Blogger 911

I feel like a complete idiot (or maybe it's just because editing your blog is so complicated) while trying to edit this blog. I know I'm new at all of this and a lot of people probably think it's a dumb blog, but it makes me release what I want to say. I want it to look how I want it to, but I'm having major issues! Maybe it's just my eyes and all the damn codes you have to go through to edit on tiny thing. Shall I try tomorrow? Perhaps. I also want to know why people don't comment on my blog. Is it really that horrible to read about my life? Sorry people if you hate my blog. Oh well.

I should probably go hit the sack now since it's 10:51pm! Hopefully Bentley doesn't wake up at 1am again tomorrow! Yikes...
