Yesterday for instance just wasn't my day.. The night before I just couldn't fall asleep for the life of me, so I decided it was a good idea to take a sleeping pill that I had been prescribed before I moved here. Well to say the least, it was a very bad idea! I ended up having very graphic, horrific dreams of things that happened in the past and some reoccurring dreams. Needless to say I woke up in tears but was so extremely tired that I had to shut my eyes. The sleeping pill didn't wear off until almost noon which is not a very good thing while having to care for a 13 month old! I felt like a horrible mother and couldn't get past the dreams that I was depressed for most of the day. I decided that I needed to get out of the house and take care of a couple things on my to-do list. So I headed over to the post office to send out a couple packages that have been sitting on my table. This was another thing that irritated me. There were probably about twenty people ahead of me standing in front of the doors so I couldn't get in (no big deal, the line was long). I was holding Bentley, my purse, a large box, and a small box on top. I was fine holding them, since I decided to go and do this with Bentley. It just made me a little frustrated when people just stared at me and said, "Oh you have a lot to carry!" (no shit)... After waiting about 10 minutes in line a very nice lady came in and started to 'flirt' with Bentley (it was nice since he doesn't see his grandma's a lot). She then noticed that I was struggling to carry the boxes and took them from me to set on the counter. Thank the Lord that there was ONE nice person at the post office! I then was brain dead and sent the boxes priority instead of parcel so I paid a butt load just to send them (honest mistake). I will get over that part though. After coming home and settling down a bit, the hubs came home and cheered me up. At least the end of my day was good! :)
Now today, I'm getting a little irritated at my cloth diapers. With Bentley getting sick and teething he gets bad diaper rash to begin with. I thought that the cloth diapers would make a difference, which they did, but I'm having trouble still. I've been giving him oatmeal baths, using a heavier rash cream (stripping diapers soon), and baby powder to cut down on some of the wetness. I think that it has something to do with the inserts not getting dry enough in my dryer and possibly different things in our detergents. So here's my plan! Stripping the inserts to start with. Getting Tiny Bubbles for the detergent. Using Bac Out for the staining and some odors. Using a Magic Stick for his rash. And setting up a little clothes line outside to let them bleach in the sun. Good idea right? I thought so! So let the experimenting begin!
On a positive note... I love my Kirby Sentria! :) But you already knew that.
One goal that I have and have to accomplish asap is to stop procrastinating! I have a list of things I need to get done, and I just sit around and look at it. What the heck!? So wish me luck my friends!
So, now for some fun! I have another link up day! It's called Wild About That Wednesday! Cool right? All you have to do is create a post telling me what you're wild about this week (pictures are recommended & remember to source) and link up to this post! Tell your friends to come and join! Let's have a linky party!
