Hey there! I'm Mrs. White and I blog over at Little Homemade Housewife. There's a lot going on with me currently, what with a new job, and a brand new house! I'm hoping to be sharing some new and upcoming DIY refashions and projects associated with both. I don't have children yet, but I do have a wonderful husband whom I've had the privilege of being married to for two years now. I love to share my ordinary life in hopes of connecting with other ladies in the blogging community.
If you could be a Disney Princess which one would you be and why?
I think I'd be Jasmine. I don't really have any 'admirable' goals of being princess Jasmine, other than wanting to ride on a magic carpet, and having an awesome pet tiger. Besides, I'd probably say Aladdin is one of the most handsome 'princes'. Mulan's man isn't bad looking either, but well, if I was going to be a princess, I'd want to be a princess that takes full advantage of the lofty and laid back lifestyle of such...and not go off and fight as a boy.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
To be truthful? I have no flippin idea. I hate these questions. Okay, hate is a strong word. I have a strong aversion to said questions. Mainly because I just don't know. So I have no idea what to tell people. I've always been a very passionate and carefree individual [at least when it comes to planning my life]. So I like to go with where the proverbial flow takes me, and not try to plan out every step. Some broad goals in my life? Get my house decorated and comfortable like I want. And I'd love to have some children.
Where is your favorite vacation spot?
It's a nice little spot here 'locally', as in still in my state. Willowa Lake, Washington. And the accompanying little town of Joseph. My husband and I went nearly right after we were married, and we had the time of our lives. It was so peaceful, and we went in the off season, so it was practically just us. Some of the things weren't open at the lake, but it didn't matter. We absolutely adored the beauty of everything and the remote surroundings where it could be just us. We also think it'd be fun to live there one day.
What motivates you in life?
My husband motivates me. A lot. He loves me undeniably, and I know I don't have to attain or achieve anything to earn his love, but I want to make his life as beautiful and wonderful as I can. This means I want to be the best me I can be. I want to be happy and successful and make our family the best it can be. This motivates me immensely in just about every aspect of my life.
What is your biggest blog goal?
My biggest blogging goal would be... that's another really hard question. I think at one time or another we all want to be 'that girl'. That girl with the humongous following, the beautifully designed blog, the awesome posts that really touch you or make you laugh or make you want to run out and do that right now! I'm not sure if that's my goal, at least not usually. We all get a little envy sometimes. I think my biggest goal would be ... to be a well appreciated blog designer. To bring joy and brightness to everyone who wants some, and to be known for providing an excellent product that makes the girl who owns that blog smile every time she sees it. I want to spread the love and happiness I find in such things, and give it to other people, over and over again.
